In 1964, a girl could find Barbie on 9 pages of the Sears catalog, “Wishbook.” It was every girls dream to have a Barbie. What do you think was the selling point of their advertising? The accessories? The clothes? Ken? I wanted it all! So that makes the old Barbie catalog ads as this week’s “Advertising that Works!”
